Turns out the three skills that make you great with AI have nothing to do with being technical. I've been going a little nuts lately. Like, staying-up-thinking-about-it nuts. And it made me realize why some people thrive with AI while others get frustrated and give up. It comes down to three things. The first is clear communication. If you're decent at talking or typing, you're already ahead — the clearer and more descriptive you are, the more likely AI gets it right the first time. The second is direction. AI won't nail it every time. So instead of yelling "you're crazy," you learn to say, "I like this, not that, let's move this way." If you've ever directed people, you already have this. The third is my favorite: curiosity. That little "huh, I wonder if it can do this" or "what if I connect these two things?" That's where the real magic lives — where the little bombs start going off in your brain. Combine all three and you get AI superpowers. I'm a strong communicator, decent at directing, and wildly curious — and lately that combo has AI doing things for me I couldn't have imagined. Claude Artifacts especially.
