30 days of showing up on camera every day. Here's what I've actually learned. I'm a writer. That I know how to do. But talking on camera every day? Still learning. First: hooks matter. Before I record, I go into Claude and say, "I'm working on this idea — help me figure out my opening sentence." That first line is what pulls people into the video. Second: you've got to tell a story. And honestly, this has been hard. Getting up every day thinking I'm about to run out of content… then I show up and suddenly the ideas come. Discipline really matters. Third: look at your insights. I'm posting on five platforms, but I'm watching Instagram and Facebook closely — specifically which videos land in the Reels feed. That means the platform thinks it's good enough to show people who don't follow me. If you're thinking about doing short-form video, here's what's working for me: → Use AI to craft your opening sentence before you record
→ Show up daily, even when you think you're out of ideas
→ Track which videos reach non-followers in the Reels feed
→ Pick an overarching theme and test what performs Have you tried creating short-form video regularly? What's working for you? This is not easy, my friends — I'd love to hear from you in the comments 👇 #ShortFormVideo #ContentCreation #MarketingTips #SocialMediaExaminer
