I handed a raw video to AI and said, "Get this down to two minutes." Then I watched what it did when she moved her head. While I'm trying to get Social Media Marketing World to 3,000, I keep running into moments like this one. Dan was showing me that Codex can handle the whole video editing process. No Final Cut. No editing app of any kind. No MCP. You drag in the file and tell it what you want. So I did. I asked it to find the most salient clips, make sure it included me ("the old gray-haired guy"), John, and Jessica, crop it, and keep the person centered in the frame the whole time. It worked for eight minutes. Captions? It'll do it. A title on top? It'll do it. Horizontal to vertical? Yep. But here's the part neither of us saw coming. When she moved her head, the frame moved with her. Like a camera operator had been following her the entire time. We both expected it to crop once and let her wander out of frame. It didn't. Mind blown. Next I'm handing it that very conversation and telling it to zoom in on whoever's talking.
