hello and welcome back to the training so in this video we've already downloaded and got our API key we've downloaded python the next step is you if you're utilizing Windows which this training will be done in Windows uh you will want to go down to the right hand corner uh to the start uh your start button if you don't have a start button uh whatever your whatever you have that's what you're looking for so what you want to go ahead and do is just type in command prompt because what we're going to look for is the command prompt all right so this is the command prompt now once it pops up inside of your windows bar here you want to right click and then run as an administrator this is crucially important it has to be ran as an admin all right now once you're running uh your python shell or not the python shell you're in your administrative command prompt shell the very next step is we have to go and grab the path in which python is sitting so we can update and run pip pip is how you install stuff all right so how you go about doing this is it's actually within a hidden folder so here's how you go and do it leave this screen up next go down to your file folder so your file explorer that's down here it looks like this click on the file explorer you will want to go to your C and this downloads to the same place unless you set it up differently so you go to C next is you will want to click on users all windows programs are set up this way whatever your most whatever whatever user you've downloaded it to go to that user so for me it's Chris so double click this if you have not already make sure that you can view hidden items okay see how it says hidden items here so you click on view up here go to hidden items okay if you already don't show the hidden items turn that on now so again go to C go to users go to the current user you're using once inside of there go to your app data this is a hidden file folder double click once inside of there click on local once inside of local go down to programs right here programs once inside the programs double click on python once inside of python click the current version that you're running and then what you're looking for is you're looking for scripts okay so once you see scripts go to scripts and then as you can see this here see this you've gone into scripts you could see Pips inside of here this is a standard this is a standard package when you download python so what you want to do is go up to the actual bar up here where all of the files are that you just went into and highlight that and then once it's highlighted like this right click and copy it and then go back to your command prompt which you should already have open all right so go to your command prompt open up your command prompt and once inside of the command prompt what you'll need to do is type CD space and then hit a hit Ctrl V it's going to add in that string that we just copied Ctrl V all right now we're inside of that file folder so what you want to do now is you want to type in the word pip here let me go ahead and give it to you from the very beginning here so what you want to write here is PIP space enter okay once you see that to show up the next step is type key IP space install okay and then type xlwt and then hit enter now I already have it but yours is going to start showing bars that it's downloading okay so now we're able to use pip no pip is how I we install packages from the web okay so now that we have that and we're able to use it the very next step while you're here is type this in so you'll have your download screen the next thing is this type install space I'm very sorry right pip space install space t-e-x-t-r-a-z-o-r text raiser so pipspace install space text razor and then hit enter all right now again I already have it but yours is going to show bars for downloading see this tells me that I already have it okay so the very next thing that we're going to need to do after that is run our script all right so uh we will get into that in in the very next video so of course I look forward to seeing you in that video I'll see you then bye-bye Chris Palmer Marketing SEO 30 W Broad St fl2
