I looked at 72 of my own videos and realized I'd been doing it all wrong. Last Friday I pulled the data. I was all over the place. No through-line. No reason for anyone to come back for the next one. So I spent almost all of Saturday in a room with Claude, building something new from scratch. My wife kept wondering what I was doing in there. I remembered Pat Flynn's keynote — how he grew a Pokémon channel to massive scale by doing the same thing every day. Episodic. A payoff every time. I started asking, "Could we learn from that?" By Monday I was pitching my leadership team. Some had mixed reactions. By that afternoon I was already recording. Here's what I didn't plan for: I'm the main character, the producer, the scriptwriter, and the editor. Some of these episodes take 3 to 5 hours to edit. I'm pulling content from Google Meets, running transcripts through AI, cutting everything myself. On my prayer walk the other day I said, "Lord, this is not sustainable." And I felt like the answer was, "So don't do it every day." That's where I am. Figuring it out in real time. And the ideas you dropped on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are literally the foundation of this entire show. I have no idea how I'm going to pull this off. But I'm having fun š Got an idea that could help us get to 3,000? Drop it below — start with "I'd…" and if you see one you'd vote for, reply "Yes."
