One of my worst nightmares just happened. I lost an AI employee. I've been telling everyone to treat your AI skills like employees. And that's exactly what I've been doing — developing one skill for weeks, giving it more and more responsibility. Then I recorded a video, asked it to do its job like always, and got this message: "No skill found." I flipped out. Sitting in a rental car on the way to the dealer, all I could think was: I didn't just lose a file. I lost weeks of work. And here's the painful part. I had documented everything — I kept telling the skill to update itself. But I stored it, metaphorically, in a building I don't own, on a shelf I can't access or control. Access isn't ownership. The more reliant we become on these powerful tools, the more we need to stop and ask: "Do I maintain control of this in case something happens?" Because something will happen. Good news — I recovered it. Ask me in the comments how. But the moral of the story: if we're creating SOPs with AI skills and we're not downloading them regularly, that's our problem. We're the mistake. Have you ever lost a skill or an important document? Let me know in the comments 👇 #AIinMarketing #AIWorkflow #MarketingTips #SocialMediaExaminer
